I forgot to mention, I miss some simple UI features MacOS gave me, there are some different ones in Windows 10. This just 'plug in and play' thing is chucked around like some cultist hare Krishna chant used to charm you and pull you into their world! I don't think Apple and PC are a lot different, this thing is PC and technically could be a Mac, in terms of power it's top of the line MacBook Pro and jumping into iMac power and for a hell of a lot less! My advice, however, would be to avoid the Apple Eco-system unless you're willing to throw a LOT of cash away within 5 years. If you know a little about PC and have the patience I'd jump in, or read around a little more or wait. I have no issues with Windows 10, the touch screen is no gimmick and works a dream, I wish I bought a 28' touch screen!!! Yea man it is the ACPI.sys is exactly what it is! I use a simple fix really, I use a program called Process lasso, it is free and easy enough to use (rtfm). If you had a universal keyboard with all apps using universal shortcuts NO ONE would tell the difference if they had access to only the 'full screen' UI element I use a lot of midi, audio editing (shifting, hit-points all that crap) and it has been 100%. With my AXE new, Apollo 8, extremely powerful PC running Cubase 10 (touch wood) pretty much bang and very stable, as far as I can tell, I am a happy chappy. WiFi for example - the Killer wifi card that Dell used sucks dick but being in PC world (secretly thanking *bleep*) I went and bought a better Intel AC 9260 for £23 and fixed any WiFi problems in the time it takes to unscrew a loads of small screws and then repeat with ONE screw and then screw the unscrewed screws back in. Everything else was literally plug and play, all my Apollo's etc found, no problems.

Good news? There are 'easy' enough workarounds until the patch is released and they do work fine. It is called DPC Latency, to be clear I knew it existed, but I also know Dell Frank Azor are working on it - and my own support assure me there is a team on the case - this I knew before hand, but I didn't think it'd be such a pain in the ass. there are issues and one especially is not for the feint of heart.

I will go over the briefs but I am actually using it now, with Cubase 10, Console 1 MK-II (UAD plugs) my new bass n shit and enjoying it! So I will get back to this post.
